The triptych Inner beauty is questioning the deeper sense of beauty and superficiality, looking to deconstruct its deeper meaning, to find out what we can agree on: What is the canon of beauty? Is it not much simpler than we would like to admit, is not everybody just happy with pure and plain beauty, looking good?
Wrapped and concealed, barely visible, that there are real flowers inside. So what it really is all about, is the beauty of things you might not see.
It is not a broken promise after all, but pointing at the transience that is clearly inscribed into cut flowers, the flower of life.

Das Würfelspiel ist seit dem Altertum weit verbreitet, vom arabischen, zum römischen bis in den germanischen Raum, eine Form der Zerstreuung die sich durch alle sozialen Schichten zog. Bei 'Flip, Sip, or Strip' sind weder die Würfel noch die Würfelbecher konventionell – es ist eine popkulturelle Assoziation von Partybechern und Rollenspielwürfeln welche das Fest als eine Einladung zum sozialen Rollentausch, einer Charade erklären.

Eine Küchenmaschine und eine Peitsche: Auf den ersten Blick können diese zwei Objekte unterschiedlicher nicht sein. Leni Michl findet nicht nur eine rein ästhetische Verbindung in der Gestalt der beiden Körper, deren dynamischer Anordnung und ihrer Farbkombination. Ist es doch auch eine visuelles Wortspiel, die Verbildlichung von Devotion und Dominanz als eine Anspielung auf die strengen Hierarchien der Küche oder einfach der sexy “whipped cream”?
